€ 2 million for mangrove forests and communities in Guinea

For PRCM, Van Marwijk Advies developed projects to restore the mangroves on Tristao Islands and Kapatchez, both in the North of Guinea. Natural regeneration and replanting of mangroves are combined with the introduction of solar energy and new, sustainable economic activities for the poor local communities. Van Marwijk Advies succesfully approached donors: D.O.B. Ecology will finance the implementation of phase 1 and phase (6 years). The project is executed by PRCM and their NGO-partner in Guinea: Guinée Ecologie
