Achieving gender equality in the world remains a challenge. Of the 1.6 billion people who live in extreme poverty, the majority are women. Every day, thousands of women and girls are victims of violence, including sexual abuse, trafficking and early and forced marriage. The health of women also remains a global challenge.
Van Marwijk Advies raises funds for organizations that strive for gender equality, working to create an environment in which every woman and girl can exercise her human rights and live up to her full potential.
