Develop Sahel climate and safety project for IKI

The Sahel region is suffering from climate change shocks and violent extremism. Together with Woord en Daad and its NGO partners in Burkina Faso and Benin, Van Marwijk Advies developed a project to break the vicious circle of conflict and poverty in the border area of ​​Northern Benin and Southern Burkina Faso. Key points are: local conflict resolution, climate-resilient agriculture (especially for women) and creating jobs for young people. The proposal was submitted to IKI, the German international climate programme.
