Organize FSC conference in Jakarta

Dutch housing associations have massively decided to use FSC timber in construction and renovation. To capitalize this commitment, Van Marwijk Advies organised a 4-days conference in Jakarta on behalf of FSC Netherlands and WWF. A delegation of 25 people – (housing) construction companies, NGO’s and government – travelled to Jakarta to share information on the FSC market in Holland/Europe. They entered into new deals with Indonesian concessionaires. This “Building and Borneo” conference was the first example of a supply chain approach in which demand and supply are connected so directly and so visibly. Van Marwijk Advies coordinated and organised the conference.
